Cooking Classes

At The Gritti Epicurean School, Executive Chef Daniele Turco shares his secrets to the preparation of a selection of dishes that use only the finest of local and seasonal ingredients. Courses range from half-day to more intensive programs which allow for a more in-depth look at various aspects of food preparation. Each course may cater to up to eight participants (min. two participants). Guests of The Gritti Palace and non-resident guests are welcome.

Indigenous class

Chef Daniele Turco will give you an insider's introduction to Italian cooking and guide you along the preparation of an exquisite three-course lunch or dinner using local seasonal ingredients which are an essential part of Venetian Cuisine. The class is also ideal for team buildings and spouse programs. Guests of The Gritti Palace and non-resident guests are welcome.

HALF-DAY CLASSES

Guests day being with a tour of the Rialto Market, one of the oldest in Italy, where they learn more about local products, seasonality and how to choose and select them. Then, another indigenous experience awaits: the typical Venetian aperitivo with cicchetti at a traditional Bacaro. Afterwards, guests head back to the Gritti Epicurean School for the cooking lesson. The class is also ideal for team buildings, spouse programs. Guests of The Gritti Palace and non-resident guests are welcome. STAY & COOK - THREE-DAY PROGRAM

A three-day program with visit to the local Rialto Market, an indigenous Venetian Aperitivo at a local bacaro and more to learn how to prepare a dinner with hand picked local ingredients.
